Fifty million people. You live there.
Ifitwereme? Would I have stayed after mandatory evacuations? Would I then be pissed when aid didn't come soon enough? Am I justified?
You cannot make summary judgements about the predicaments of 50M people. It's a case-by-case issue. Most people are responsible for themselves, and many don't even know it. Some probably aren't qualified to make the judgement for themselves, but it's theirs to judge.
